🥔 Homemade Potato Chips Recipe (Crispy & Easy)

 



📝 Ingredients

  • 3–4 large potatoes
  • Cold water (for soaking)
  • Oil (for deep frying)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Optional: black pepper, chili powder, garlic powder

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Slice the potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Slice them very thin (use a knife or slicer for best results).

2. Soak in cold water
Put the slices into a bowl of cold water for 20–30 minutes. This removes excess starch and makes chips crispier.

3. Dry properly
Drain the water and pat the slices dry using a clean towel or paper towel.

4. Heat the oil
Heat oil in a deep pan on medium heat. Make sure the oil is hot but not smoking.

5. Fry the chips
Add potato slices in small batches. Fry until they turn golden and crispy.

6. Remove & drain
Take out the chips and place them on paper towels to remove excess oil.

7. Season
Sprinkle salt and any extra seasoning you like while still hot.
